FRANCE 1812 RIFLEMAN OF THE NEUCHATEL BATTALION In the 1806 the principality of Neuchatel came annex to the France and shortly afterwards, the 30 March of the same year, its crown was delivered to the Napoleonic marshal Berthier. to the politics turning made follows May 11 , 1807 an imperial decree that ordered the infantry battalion creation to the commands of Jean Henri from Bosset, an original official of Neuchatel.
